Le candidature ai Golden Globes 2026 sono state rese note, aprendo ufficialmente la nuova stagione dei premi e offrendo un primo sguardo ai titoli che potrebbero imporsi anche agli Oscar del prossimo marzo. L’edizione in arrivo non si distingue soltanto per la ricchezza delle opere in gara, ma anche per un cambiamento significativo: l’introduzione di una categoria dedicata ai podcast.

Paul Thomas Anderson guida la corsa con il suo nuovo film
A dominare la lista delle nomination è Una battaglia dopo l’altra, il più recente lavoro di Paul Thomas Anderson. Distribuito da Warner Bros., il film raccoglie ben nove candidature e si afferma come il principale punto di riferimento nelle categorie più prestigiose. Al secondo posto si colloca Sentimental Value del regista norvegese Joachim Trier. Presentato in anteprima al Festival di Cannes e atteso nelle sale italiane per il 22 gennaio, il film conquista otto nomination, confermando quanto l’apertura internazionale della HFPA continui a essere un elemento determinante nelle scelte della giuria.
Il terzo titolo più riconosciuto è I peccatori di Ryan Coogler, anch’esso prodotto da Warner Bros., che ottiene sette candidature. Pur avendo avuto un debutto di stagione più contenuto, Hamnet di Chloé Zhao si difende con cinque nomination, grazie soprattutto alla performance di Jessie Buckley, già considerata tra le possibili protagoniste della serata.
